Step 1
Remove oil filter and oil filter gasket to use later on cone installation.
Step 2
Clean oil filter ring.
Step 3
Lubricate oil ring for dial indicating nut.
Step 4
Place the 45° fitting on the cone.
Step 5
Tighten dial indicating nut and oil ring into place so the 45° fitting is at zero.
Step 6
Put the two 90° fittings on the body. Plug can be removed and used for pressure gauge (optional). NOTE: Use tape to secure fittings at correct angles shown; cut off extra tape with razor blade; if needed correct spacers on the body to connect the downtube (see next pic). Use grease to secure pins.
Step 7
Measure correct distance for cutting hose.
Step 8
Repeat for bottom.
Step 9
Put hose clamps on.
Step 10
Correct direction for hose clamps. NOTE: If using Harley hose clamps, the crimping tool is needed (not included).

Screw short threads of body filter nut(I) into body(A) using Locktight. Long threads will face downward.
Step 13
Use Locktight and tighten rear clamp body bolts.
Step 14
Fill oil filter with oil.
Step 15
Lubricate gasket.
Step 16
Spin on.
Step 17
Start up and road test for leaks.
